Abstract

Two indoline derivativesi.e2-(4-nitroindolin-3-yl)acetic acid and ethyl 2-(4-aminoindolin-3-yl)acetate were synthesised from 2-methyl-3-
nitroaniline by using multistep synthesis. The final indoline products obtained in good yields.
