Abstract

This paper studies the effect of magnetic field on torsional vibrations in poroelastic hollow cylinders. The frequency equation is obtained when the boundaries are free, fixed and mixed boundary conditions are calculated numerically. It is shown that the dispersion curves of guided waves significantly influenced by magnetic field of poroelastic cylinder. The result obtained theoretically is computed and are presented graphically.
