Abstract

AMS Subject Classification [2000]: 47H10,54H25,46J10, 46J15. The purpose of this article is to generalize the result of W. Sintunavarat and P. Kumam [29]. We also give an example in support of our theorem for which result of W. Sintunavarat and P. Kumam [29] is not true. Moreover we establish the existence and convergence theorems of coupled best proximity points in metric spaces, we applied this results to a uniformly convex Banach space.
